Culinary Taste Experience Badge/Ticket

Get ready to sample some of the most creative and delicious datil-infused culinary creations! To ensure everyone enjoys a smooth and flavorful experience, please follow the badge system below.

 🎟️ Your Color-Coded Badge = Your Tasting Schedule - Each attendee has received one color-coded badge: Orange, Green, or VIP Black. Your badge determines your entry time into each tent, where you’ll sample savory, sweet, and drink creations made with the legendary datil pepper.

The Black VIP Badge - Berndt End’s VIP Experience will begin at noon in the Black Tent where the Berndt Ends BBQ Team led by the multiple award-winning Datil Whole Hog Chef, Shaine Berndt, will explain in detail the (Berndt) ends and outs of Smoking a Datil Pepper injected Whole Hog.

Black VIP Berndt Ends Badge Holders:         

12:00 – 12:45 PM → VIP Experience (Black Tent)

1:00 – 1:45 PM → Black Tent

2:00 – 2:45 PM → Orange Tent

3:00 – 4:00 PM → Green Tent

Orange Badge Holders:     

1:00 – 1:45 PM → Orange Tent

2:00 – 2:45 PM → Green Tent

3:00 – 4:00 PM → Black Tent

Green Badge Holders:

Last year’s Culinary Event was a huge success and sell-out! We heard great feedback and are making a few changes to make this year's event even better! Some of the changes:

• More Amazing Datil Creations - up to 30 items!

• Berndt Ends VIP “Datil Infused” Whole Hog Smoking Class

• 3 Color-coded Tents to give you more room to enjoy your datilicious treats!

• A 15 min cooling off period for both you and the culinary teams to catch their breath and cool your tongue!

• Mystery Judges – Making things run smoother!

NOTE: Beginning at 10 am – check in with us at our Datil Fest Info Tent at the corner of Memorial Pkwy and St John's Ave. There we will issue your color-coded Culinary Tasting badge(s) with times printed on them.

• Please arrive on time for each of your scheduled tasting sessions.

• Your badge color matches the tent color you’ll be in at each time slot.

• This rotation allows everyone to enjoy all tents without overcrowding.

• Be courteous to the chefs and other guests. Take your time to savor each creation!
